Welcome to Greenline Farming, we are located in the winter produce capital of the world in Yuma, Arizona. We grow produce for some of the finest companies in the country. Our company is dedicated to growing superior crops through quality practices and innovative cultural practices to deliver our customers with industry leading produce.

Environment & Sustainability

Greenline Farming is committed to producing the worlds safest, healthiest, and most sustainable food supply to families and customers globally. Our team is constantly dedicating the necessary resources to continually improve our already, very sound food safety program. As the food safety industry continues to evolve, we invest in trainings to better our practices such as weekly/monthly trainings, workshops, and seminars. These training sessions go over many different topics. For example proper hand washing, employee health, employee hygiene, equipment cleaning procedures, animal control, traceability etc.

Food Safety Program

At Greenline Farming LLC. We believe the Being a Good Steward of the land go’s hand in hand with food safety and sustainability, by assuring that before the first seed are planted, we have verified that all Food Safety and Good Agricultural Practices are in place, environmental assessment are done, and mitigations are preformed when determined to be a risk.

Our food safety specialist has documented all issues from the environmental assessments for the growing land as well as nearby land, AG water, water supply for Irrigation and sanitations on all ranches.

We have developed field practices for irrigation water quality, water treatment when water comes in to contact with the edible portion of the product, as outlines under GFSI, LGMA or by the shipper’s guidelines.

Each water source is tested for Pathogens monthly, our Food Safety specialists review testing results to assures they are acceptable.

Our program has an information technologies shipper portal that contains easy assessable food safety document.

Prevention

We have developed policies and SOP for all aspects of our growing activities.

We meticulously adhere GFSI requirements via food safety audits audit’s and follow FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act requirements including Current Good Manufacturing Practices and principles.

Animal and rodent control is established on each ranch based on risk assessment by food safety Specialist and or Shipper recommendations.

Equipment sanitation is performed on all field equipment to assure cross-contamination from equipment does not occur.

Train & Educate in Food Safety

At Greenline farming LLC., we are firm believers that continual training and ongoing education at all levels are critical to food safety vigilance. Our employees attend tailgate training sessions every season for food safety.

Traceability

Another vital component of an effective food safety program is the ability to trace products back to where products are grown, and forward to where they delivered or distributed. We use coordinated code tracking that is second to none.

Our fully integrated traceability system has been evaluated by an internal documented mock traceback.
